Me and Like A LOT of Kids

Me and my dad 2002 Me and my brother-in-law, Rich. I was 10 years old when he married my sister. I grew up with more memories of him in my life than before. Never thought of him as an in-law. In some ways he was a lot like a dad to me too. Grateful for him in my life! Soccer cake for Wylie! Tough Jean is gone. I can't stop crying Jean is here. Some pregnancies I've had no filter and I'll just say anything mean or not. This pregnancy I seem to just cry over everything! Kenzie crossed the finish line in a cross country race...yup I'm crying at the finish line. Talking to a friend about my worries and fears...crying again. Cashier at Smith's was really rude to me...yup I'm crying. True story. Not just crying but uncontrollably crying. Like I had to go hide and try to get myself together and then upon leaving ran into a door because I couldn't see I was crying so bad! Today was no exception. It was fast and testimony meeting at church. ...

I really do love watching my kids play soccer or participating in anything. But, I'm so excited to be done with soccer this fall! Usually we're done by now, but we had a lot of games rescheduled due to bad air quality earlier in the season when Utah County was experiencing big fires. Finally, today we had our last game for Kayla's team and that finishes our season off! Kayla's team was placed second in her division. Maybree, Wylie, and Lilah staying huddled and warm. Just a bit of background on myself, I am a Florida girl. Born and raised in Florida. I finished high school here in Utah. But, I will never enjoy freezing cold weather! I do love snow. I was 12 years old before I ever saw snow on my first trip to Utah. It is still a bit magical to me. However, what is the point of cold weather if it's not snowing? I keep a huge bag of blankets in my car for Utah's unpredictable weather which always happens during soccer games it seems. Today was no except...

Creepy or funny? This is what pregnancy feels like at the end... I love Halloween! I also kind of hate it... It's so fun to decorate the house for it! I love spending time with all the family that is around! Trick or treating with cousins! Watching the kids have so much fun during all the exciting seasonal things planned! If I'm being honest, then I also love the abundance of candy around! The excuse to be silly, or dress in something crazy, or wear way to much make up! All these cute creepy costumes...Greg is under that bear... I really hate finding costumes for the kids! Haha! The anxiety of  them deciding what they want to be and you as the parent trying to magically transform them into this idea in their head! Also, trying to be creative so you don't over spend while figuring out how to make everyone's costumes work out! The worst is all the rushing around though. From school and Halloween parades to parties and trick or treating. Somehow, I'm suppose...
